WizFile – The Portable Freeware Collection

WizFile is a near-instant search utility for finding files and folders. Results can be sorted by name, size or date and file type (audio, video, image, compressed etc.). The program supports wildcards, AND/OR operations and much more.

The program rapidly searches NTFS-formatted drives using the Master File Table feature so it’s ready for use very quickly after launch. The program also supports non-NTFS formatted drives and network shares (e.g. //servername/sharename), monitoring for file changes and making search results visible in real-time.

Clibor – The Portable Freeware Collection

Clibor is a feature-rich, customisable, and easy-to-use clipboard manager. It supports “set phrases” (possible to sort into groups and add memos) and changing of the format of the content within the clipboard history (regular expression of find and replace text, aligning similar pattern etc). The program offers different copy/paste modes (FIFO/LIFO), shortcut keys, incremental search, encryption (using a startup password), selection of multiple items, backup/restore and more.

The program can store up to 10,000 clipboard items.

PeaZip – The Portable Freeware Collection

PeaZip is a feature-rich file archiver with broad support for 200+ file types. The file manager interface includes a hash tool, file wipe, file associations, file splitter, themes, estimated compression level, system benchmark, image crop/rename and much more.

Formats supported include most mainstream archive formats, including ZIP, 7Z, ACE, BZIP2, CAB, GZIP, TAR, UPX, ZIPX, as well as it’s own PEA format. Can extact but not create MSI and RAR files.

Note that tools setup through the Task Scheduler are not portable.

Cross platform with clients for Mac, Linux, and BSD, as well as a 64-bit version is available. Alternatively, PeaZip Portable portablizes bookmarks and includes both 32 and 64-bit versions, automatically using the proper one on each PC.

ClipAngel – The Portable Freeware Collection

ClipAngel records all data copied including text, images and files, making it easy to retrieve earlier data where Windows usually allows only one item at a time. The program keeps data even after reboot and can paste in RDP, CMD, elevated windows etc. independently from current input language. Clipboard views include rich text and HTML formatting, filtering by text and details on URL, application and window data.

The program can emulate keyboard input and includes customizable hotkeys. For additional security, the program can block specific applications where passwords may be copied and encrypt stored items.

Balabolka – The Portable Freeware Collection

Balabolka is a feature-rich program to read text aloud from a variety of file types including DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML. The program uses built-in Windows speech tools, but lets you fine tune voices, including rate and pitch, and a substitution list can also be applied to improve the quality of the voice’s articulation. The program supports customized font and background color, skins, control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys.

The program can save to a variety of audio formats and quality levels, and can include synchronized text to external LRC files or in MP3 tags inside the audio files. When the audio file is played with players on a computer or on modern digital audio players, the text will be displayed synchronously (in the same way as lyrics for songs).

The program includes batch conversion tools from of a wide variety of document formats to audio or plain text and a file compare tool, file splitter and screen magnification window. Command-line functions also supported.
