How to extract:

Alternatively, Password Safe supports “Auto Type” that enters the username and password into the target application by simulating keystrokes.

The database is encrypted using the Twofish encryption algorithm. A Linux version (currently in Beta) is also available from the website.

Password Tech – The Portable Freeware Collection

Password Tech is a suite of security tools, including a strong random password and data file generator, text encryption tool, and master password generator.

Random number generator – Create lists of random characters or passphrases from word lists. Includes multiple features to select easy-to-remember passwords that still conform to security standards.
Text encryption – Uses the Windows clipboard (copy and paste) to encrypt text via hotkey. Also enables caching the password temporarily so you don’t have to re-enter the password repeatedly.
Master password – Rather than storing a specific password, the program generates the same password everytime. This is created via a master and perimeter words (e.g. service + email) to generate a high security password.

Includes available hotkeys, profiles, common password filter, and more.

Password Tech – The Portable Freeware Collection

Password Tech (formerly PWGen) provides a variety of security tools including a strong random password and data file generator, master password tool, and a text encryption tool.

Random number generator – the program can create lists of random characters or pass-phrases from word lists and uses mouse/keyboard activity to gather more entropy. The program includes lots of features to make these passwords easy and conform to any security standard.
Master password – lets you create strong passwords using two words, usually a single password with it’s destination, creating strong passwords for every site (“email” is unique from “network”). It’s an easy way to avoid writing down your passwords but always having them available.
Text encryption – draws from any application that supports a text copy/paste to encode (using the cliboard).

For both encryption and password generation, the program uses an open, standard algorithm (AES 256).

Network Password Recovery – The Portable Freeware Collection

Network Password Recovery finds the password saved when a machine connects to a remote server for the currently logged-on user. Saved passwords include LAN network shares or .NET Passport account. The program can also recover the passwords stored in Credentials file of external drive, as long as you know the last log-on password.
