WinDirStat – The Portable Freeware Collection



WinDirStat provides a visual and statistical representation of disk usage, as well as cleanup tools. It reads the whole directory tree once and then presents it in three useful views: directory list, extension list, and tree map. Its built-in cleanup actions include open, show properties, delete as well as user-defined ones.

Note: The 98/ME version works on all versions of Windows but does not support Unicode. The 2K/XP version only works on WinNT and higher.

Alternatively, WinDirStat Portable and X-WinDirStat are also available.

Password Safe – The Portable Freeware Collection



Password Safe is a database for encrypting sensitive information. Once opened with a master password, you can copy a password and paste it directly into your application. Alternatively, Password Safe supports “Auto Type” that enters the username and password into the target application by simulating keystrokes.

The database is encrypted using the Twofish encryption algorithm. A Linux version (currently in Beta) is also available from the website.

CopyQ – The Portable Freeware Collection



CopyQ is a powerful clipboard manager that can handle text, HTML and images. It supports customizable global commands, quick browsing and pasting (including paste as plain text), always on top, tray control, themes, advanced command-line interface and scripting. SmartSystemMenu – The Portable Freeware Collection



SmartSystemMenu enables a variety of functionality to all windows on your machine. When you click the top-left corner of any window, you’ll see available visual effects such as resizing, transparency, alignment (such as moving to the lower-right corner). Window movement functions include as sending to tray, staying on top, and the ability to drag the window without using the top bar (“drag-by-mouse”).

muCommander is a Java-based skinnable, tabbed file manager with a dual-pane interface. The tool connects to a many online services such as FTP, SFTP, SMB, HTTP, Amazon S3, Bonjour, HDFS (Hadoop), NFS and more. File copying includes transfer verification, rate of speed controls and transfer visualization. It can open and create a variety of archive types as well as view and modify ZIP files without recompression.
