System Scheduler Free schedules unattended running of applications, batch files, scripts etc. Intended as a replacement for Windows’ own scheduler, the program adds more flexibility and features including popup reminders for appointments, reminders, and events that can be set to run once or every minute, hour, day, week, month, or year.

The program also includes it’s own scripting tools for mouse, keyboard and other operations. Additional features are available in it’s “Pro” version described on the home page.

Pazera Free Audio Extractor – The Portable Freeware Collection



Pazera Free Audio Extractor takes the audio from most major video files without loss of sound quality or converts them to a variety of common audio formats. The program can also behave as a simple conversion tool from one audio format to another (e.g. AAC to MP3).

Some supported formats include (audio) MP3, AAC, AC3, WMA, M4A, FLAC, OGG, WAV, ALAC, WavPack, AIFF; (video) AVI, FLV, MP4, MPG, MOV, RM, 3GP, WMV, VOB, MKV, WebM and OGV.

Note: By default, the program will extract/convert to MP3. Select “Try extract original audio stream” to avoid re-encoding. This is faster, but may result in a format some devices can’t read. Additionally, the program has a number of predefined settings (profiles) specially designed for novice users. More advanced users can easily customize audio encoding parameters with output parameters.

NOTE: Recent press about CCleaner indicates it may represent a privacy concern.

CCleaner is a feature-rich system optimization and privacy tool. The program cleans unused, temporary and log files from your system, as well as traces of online activities such as Internet history and flash cookies. The program contains startup controls for Windows, major internet browsers and context menu entries. Includes a separate registry cleaner, duplicate search, system restore tool and can wipe both deleted files and drive free space for security.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder). Monitoring functions are only available in the pro version.

Additional cleaner rules can be using an unofficial set of community-developed set. It should be noted that many of these rules are alpha and the developers will not provide support for these rules, a thread in the users forum is dedicated to supporting the add-on rules.

Alternatively, ccPortable is also available.
