Audacity is a multi-track sound recorder and editor with support for most audio formats and sophisticated effects such as noise removal and studio reverb. Users can record live audio, compress or convert file types, as well as cut, copy, splice or mix sounds together.

Cross platform with clients available for Mac and Linux.

Alternatively, Audacity Portable and an outdated X-Audacity are also available.

Shotcut is a non-linear video editor with wide format support, a customizable interface, and support for a variety of connections and devices. It is codec-independent so it does not rely on system codecs. It encodes/transcodes to a wide variety of formats via FFmpeg. It also supports streaming from any video file or capture source.

Shotcut is cross-platform, with clients available for Mac and Linux.

MultiClipBoardSlots allows you to extend the Clipboard for up to 10 clipboard storage slots to easily insert text, images and other objects between the programs via freely selectable Windows shortcut. The program doesn’t lose the contents of the Clipboard Slots because the default Clipboard will be overwritten by other programs.

The keyboard shortcuts for the Clipboard Memory Slots are predefined, but always can be individually adjusted.

The program includes a searchable browser for thousands of available sources of every kind (rock, rap, talk, sports, etc.), an audio splitter that looks for silence to separate tracks, and includes a basic player for recorded files. CudaText is a code editor with a clean, tabbed interface and side-panels. Includes split view, code folding, hotkeys, theme support, color picker and much more. The program supports 300+ syntaxes and add-ons written in Python, as well as some IDE features if plugins are used.

The program is cross-platform, with clients available for Mac and Linux. Settings are modified either via options dialogs, or alternatively, by manually editing text config files (JSON format).
