@Cattleya: Make sure you download the zip package, because the installer does the following:
“The kernel mode driver used by CPU-Z is installed on the system, that avoids to install / remove it at every run.”
The portable version leaves no driver behind, just tested it.

@kc: I used to do sysadmin for a small non-profit org. 7 pc’s and 2 printers, no big deal. I carried all my tools on a pendrive. Off course I had admin-rights, but this is a typical scenario a lot of us are in, so it’s not entirely useless, portable is the way to go for sysadmins 😉

It is capable of many kinds of data organization, including todo lists, calendars, project management, brainstorming, organizing ideas, planning, requirements gathering, presentation of information, etc.

CudaText is a code editor with a clean, tabbed interface and side-panels. Includes split view, code folding, hotkeys, theme support, color picker and much more. The program supports 300+ syntaxes and add-ons written in Python, as well as some IDE features if plugins are used.

The program is cross-platform, with clients available for Mac and Linux. Settings are modified either via options dialogs, or alternatively, by manually editing text config files (JSON format).

CCleaner is a feature-rich system optimization and privacy tool. The program cleans unused, temporary and log files from your system, as well as traces of online activities such as Internet history and flash cookies. The program contains startup controls for Windows, major internet browsers and context menu entries. Includes a separate registry cleaner, duplicate search, system restore tool and can wipe both deleted files and drive free space for security.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder). Monitoring functions are only available in the pro version.

Additional cleaner rules can be using an unofficial set of community-developed set. It should be noted that many of these rules are alpha and the developers will not provide support for these rules, a thread in the users forum is dedicated to supporting the add-on rules.

VideoCacheView automatically scans the entire cache of Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge, Mozilla-based Web browsers, Opera, Chrome-based Web browsers and finds all cached media files. It allows you to easily copy the cached audio and video files into another folder for playing/watching them in the future. For video, if you have a player that is configured to play FLV files, it also allows you to play the video directly from your browser’s cache.

ReNamer is a small and flexible file renaming tool that offers all the standard renaming procedures, including prefixes, suffixes, replacements, case changes. It can also remove brackets, add number sequences, remove digits or symbols, change file extensions and much more. Multiple renaming actions can be combined into a rule set.

foobar2000 is an audio player with low memory footprint and native support for most popular audio formats. It includes CD ripping, format conversion, replay gain, audio normalization, equalization and more. Playlist display and keyboard shortcuts are both very customisable. Additional functionality available via a wide variety of plugins.

The program can edit song tags (album and song name, number, year etc.) based on the FreeDB Internet database and even rename the original songs based on these tags. A file format conversion tool is available, but must be enabled with external downloads. Can even fix some MP3s with corrupted file headers.

Windows 2000 users can download the last compatible version: 0.9.4.
Windows XP and Vista users, download last version from 1.5 series.
