Notepad3 is an feature-rich, accessible replacement for the original Windows Notepad with a variety of text modification tools for both complex text edition and programmers. The program enables code folding, bracket matching, automatic indentation, word auto-completion, character encoding conversion, multiple undo or redo, and bookmarks.
The program also includes a regular expression-based find and replace individual files and batch operations. It supports filename and content searches with reports and many file filters.
The program is the unofficial successor to the Notepad2 program, built from its source code as well as Scintilla and MiniPath on code from metapath.
