Copy public Ip Application

An IP address is an identifier for devices on a TCP/IP network, Every device that connects to the Internet has its own Internet Protocol (IP) address. IP addresses make it possible, among other things, for computers from different networks to find each other. IP addresses are vital for all Internet-based activities, and yet it’s not uncommon that a user doesn’t know his computer’s IP. IP addresses are one of the most critical resources that need to be managed in any network . All IPv4 IP addresses can be divided into two major groups , External and local IP addresses both serve the same purpose, the difference is scope.

1. External (Public) IP Address : Global, or public, or external this group can also be called ‘WAN addresses’. An external or public IP address is used across the entire Internet to locate computer systems and devices. Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) assigns you an external IP address when you connect to the Internet. When your web browser requests a webpage, it sends this IP address along with it. Your ISP uses this to know which of its customers are requesting which webpage.

difference between Public and internal IP Addresses

2. Local (Internal) IP Address : Private, or local, or internal addresses, those that are used in the local network (LAN).A local or internal IP address is used inside a private network to locate the computers and devices connected to it. If your computer is connected to a router with default settings, that router will automatically assign a local IP address to your computer. Your local IP address is hidden from the outside world and used only inside your private network. You generally don’t need to know much about it unless you’re trying to set up a game or web server.

Addresses in IPv4 are 32-bits long. This allows for a maximum of 4,294,967,296 (2^32) unique addresses. Addresses in IPv6 are 128-bits, which allows for 3.4 x 10^38 (2^128) unique addresses.

WebBrowserPassView is a password recovery tool that reveals the passwords stored by Internet Explorer, Firefox-based and Chromium-based Web browsers. This tool can be used to recover your lost/forgotten password of any website, including popular Web sites, like Facebook, Yahoo, Google, and GMail, as long as the password is stored by your Web Browser.

Currently, WebBrowserPassView cannot retrieve the passwords if they are encrypted with a master password.

To work with Chrome and Opera portable versions, go to ‘options’ and set the location of the portable browser folder. Select the user data folder in Chrome, and wand.dat for Opera. (Thanks to user “deer”.)

On-Screen Keyboard Portable works in the absence of a physical keyboard and makes it easy to access a built-in on-screen keyboard on any system you come across. It remembers your settings for sound, select by hover or click, always on top, layout and more. For earlier operating systems that lack a built-in on-screen keyboard (Windows 95/98/Me) it includes a simple virtual keyboard that, while lighter on accessibility features, is still useful.

PortableApps.com AppCompactor allows you to compress whole directories including applications, file libraries and zip files. The program is a powerful compression tool that unites 7-Zip and UPX inside a user-friendly wizard. For applications, this saves disk space and increases performance when running from a slow media (like flash drives). For archives, this will recompress DLL, EXE, ZIP, JAR, IRC, PYD and BIN files to their maximum compression settings, as well as an option to decompress an app’s binary files that were previously compressed with UPX.

All files are tested using UPX’s test feature after compressing. Files smaller than 4K are automatically skipped as compressing will not save space on the drive. The standard Microsoft Visual C runtimes are skipped to prevent antivirus false-positives. Advanced configuration can be done with apps in PortableApps.com Format.

Note: As UPX will alter the EXEs and DLLs (reversible using the Decompress option in the AppCompactor) and some apps may have issues with Zip or Jar files compressed further, users should backup software and test it after processing.
