TheAeroClock is a simple but at the same time beautiful desktop clock with alpha transparency. Basic functions include transparency, size, setting and selection of the clock texture or appearance are available.
NonCompressibleFiles is a testing program that allows you to create on the fly one or more non-compressible files, or maximum compressible files. Can be used to test performance of compression programs, to find out if data transfer programs (such as FTP) are compressing the data, or test file behavior.

WizTree is a very fast disk space analyzer and search tool, scanning a single folder or your entire hard drive quickly and showing those files and folders using the most disk space. The program uses the NTFS Master File Table (MFT) feature in Windows to rapidly view files.
Note that this high-speed mode is limited to local, NTFS-formatted drives. The program must do a (much slower) scan of FAT-formatted or network drives for analysis.
Media Player Classic – Black Edition (MPC-BE) is a fully customizable, lightweight video player that supports all common video and audio file formats available.
The program is a heavily modified fork of of the well-known Media Player Classic – Home Cinema and uses its own codecs without affecting the rest of your system. It comes with support for a plethora of file formats, such as MPEG, HEVC, H264, H.265, WMV, Quicktime (MOV), DIVX, Real Video, MJPEG, H.261, H.263, HuffYUV, Theora and others, including niche ones, while also allowing you to load content from DVDs and Blu-ray discs, ISO images or 3D movies. It is also possible to load media from external devices and input media URL addresses directly.
Alternatively, Media Player Classic – Black Edition (MPC-BE) Portable is also available.
Chromium is a fast, open source browser with a minimalist interface. The program is similar to Google Chrome and uses the same code base, but takes up less space and resources usage, has fewer tie-ins with Google, and generally better privacy. Unlike Google Chrome, it is missing proprietary audio and video codecs and there’s no automatic update system.
Chromium is cross-platform with clients available for Mac, Linux, and ChromiumOS. X-Chromium is a wrapper program. Earlier versions are available for Win XP to 8.1, and 32-bit Win 10.
Note: X-Chromium’s update cycle has in the past been many months apart. Using out-of-date web browsers is not recommended because they may be missing important vulnerability patches.
PortableApps.com Platform is an all-in-one tool for portable software download, management and updating. An included launcher shows nested folders organized automatically by function or favorite status, as well as a cascading app view on right-click of the tray icon. The program’s appearance can be customized with transparency and several color, texture, and background options.
Other tools include a find-as-you-type search functionality, available cloud installation, drive error checker, backup/restore utility, portable fonts, automatic application closing on shutdown and more. The program can also work with portable software outside of the PortableApps format (see Extract instructions).
Functional in 64-bit and WINE, includes broad language support and proxy support.
KMPlayer is a audio/video player that supports a wide range of file formats, including AVI, MKV, MPEG, OGM, MP4, ASF etc. without any additional codecs installed. It also has full VCD/DVD playback functionality. In addition, it is able to play incomplete/damaged AVI files, or media files that are locked while downloading or sharing.
