> I updated to Pale Moon 25.0.0 and found out AdBlock Plus no longer worked.

Sadly, Pale Moon is going to have a lot of incompatibilities from here on. The fact that it doesn’t work with the most popular add-on for Firefox is pretty telling, and the Pale Moon developer has placed responsibility on the heads of add-on developers, rather than trying to work around the problem.

Anyone looking for a more “old fashioned” approach to Firefox might want to look into Seamonkey.

Seamonkey is sort of a bundled Firefox and Thunderbird. It contains many of the options that have been stripped from Firefox over the past year, denying power users their old level of customization (fine-tuning JavaScript permissions, etc.).

And like Pale Moon, Seamonkey doesn’t suffer from the Chrome-like “Australis” design!

NetworkLatencyView listens to network connections on your system and checks for connection response time or “latency” (often called lag when very high). The program can view up to 10 addresses, their values and the average of all the connections. This is very similar to the results from pinging.

Works with TCP protocol connections and allows you to easily export the latency information to text/csv/tab-delimited/html/xml file, or copy the information to the clipboard and then paste it to Excel or other application.

WakeMeOnLan allows you to easily turn on one or more computers remotely by sending Wake-on-LAN (WOL) packet over the network. This will return machines from a standby or turned-off state, useful for administrators or to save electricity until resources are needed. WakeMeOnLan also allows you to scan your network and collect the MAC addresses of all online computers. This information can be exported to a file.

Additionally, an available command-line interface can turn on a computer using a computer name, IP address, or the MAC address of the remote network card.
